01Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aiconomy platform, including Ava, Leo, Maya, Zara, Sam and Dex (each an "Agent") and any related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Aiconomy Ltd ("Aiconomy", "we", "us"). By starting a trial, subscribing to an Agent, or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the business you represent.
02The service
Aiconomy provides AI agents that automate specific business functions — marketing, customer service, finance, HR, payroll and IT-desk work — for small and growing businesses. Agents act within the scope and approval boundaries you configure; consequential actions are held for your approval by default unless you explicitly enable autonomous execution within limits you set.
03Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by team members you grant access to.
04Trial terms
New customers may start a 14-day trial of one Agent of their choice for a one-time fee of £99 (the "Trial Fee"). The Trial Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including early cancellation, and whether or not you subscribe after the trial.
Trial Credit. If you subscribe to any paid plan within 7 days of the end of your trial, we will deduct the Trial Fee from your first monthly invoice (the "Trial Credit"). The Trial Credit is a one-off reduction of that first invoice. It is not a cash balance and is not refundable, transferable or redeemable for cash. It cannot be applied to add-ons, usage above your allowance, tailored builds, tool connections or the care plan. If your first invoice is lower than the Trial Credit, the unused part lapses. One trial and one Trial Credit are available per business. If you cancel after subscribing, the Trial Credit is not refunded.
05Subscriptions, billing & no refunds
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance: one Agent at £149 per month, each additional Agent at £99 per month, or the full team of six Agents at £499 per month, unless a different rate is agreed in writing (for example a founding-client rate).
- Each plan includes a monthly allowance of conversations or tasks: 400 for one Agent, a further 250 for each additional Agent, and 2,000 shared across the full team. Usage above your allowance is charged at £15 per 100 conversations or tasks, and we will tell you before extra charges apply.
- Tailored work (tool connections, custom builds and the optional care plan) is quoted and agreed in writing before work starts and is charged separately.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Aiconomy does not offer refunds for trial fees, partial subscription periods, or unused time following cancellation. This applies consistently across all plans and Agents.
- Prices are shown exclusive of VAT/applicable sales tax unless stated otherwise, which is added at checkout where required.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to: break the law; send unlawful, harassing, or deceptive communications through an Agent; attempt to circumvent approval gates on consequential actions; reverse-engineer or resell the Service without our written consent; or upload content you don't have the right to process. We may suspend accounts that breach this section.
07Your content & data
You retain ownership of the content you submit to an Agent (emails, tickets, invoices, and similar). We process it solely to deliver the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train shared or third-party AI models.
08AI-generated output
Agents generate replies, drafts and recommendations using AI. Where an Agent interacts directly with your customers or team, we design that interaction to make clear an AI is involved, in line with applicable transparency requirements including Article 50 of the EU AI Act (see Compliance). AI-generated output can be inaccurate; you're responsible for reviewing consequential output before it's acted on, particularly where approval gates have been disabled.
09Intellectual property
Aiconomy and its licensors own all rights in the Service itself, including the Agent platform, branding, and underlying software. Nothing in these Terms transfers that ownership to you. You're granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes for as long as your subscription is active.
10Availability & changes
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, add to, or remove features, and may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email before they take effect.
11Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aiconomy's total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business opportunities. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
12Suspension & termination
Either party may terminate a subscription at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach of the acceptable use section, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; no refund is due for the remainder of the current billing period.
13Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where local mandatory consumer or data protection law in your country gives you additional rights or a different forum.
